Mark Selby, an Englishman is one of world's best players. He is a former Under-15 champion of England and a recent World Snooker Championship champion. He is also an avid pool player. He was the 2006 WEPF eightball pool champion and a finalist at the 2015 Chinese Pool World Championship. Selby was born in Leicester, England. Malcolm Thorne was his coach, the brother of Willie Thorne.

Ronnie O'Sullivan
Ronnie O'Sullivan spent over 280 weeks at number one in world snooker. After reaching the semi finals of the Tour Championship, O'Sullivan's latest move put him ahead of Mark Selby. The Scot reached the top of the world in May 2002 and has since won 31 ranking title. He has won six World Championship titles as well as five UK Championships.
Mark Williams
Mark Williams is the current number 10, and one of the top snooker players worldwide. The Welshman became a member of the elite in 1995 with his wins at the Welsh Open and Benson & Hedges Masters. He won the latter title by making a respotted black in the final. He was the fourth player who won three ranking championships in 1998.
Graeme Dott
Graeme Dott, who has been awarded two ranking titles and reached final of the China Open 2010, is a Graeme Dott. However, his form has been inconsistent since then. He has spoken out about his struggle with depression. The Australian ranks in the bottom half of world snooker rankings. However, he has a strong record at home.
Dotts's career
Graeme Dott began his professional career in 1994 and has steadily climbed the ranks of world snooker. He was ranked in the top sixteen for 2001 and stayed there through 2009. He reached the quarter-finals of the Welsh Open in 1996 and the World Championship in 1997, finishing second in the 1999 Scottish Open and the 2001 British Open. He was also the 2004 World Championship runner-up. 1999 saw his first competitive 147 break at the British Open.

Dotts' ranking
Dott's ranking in the world snooker rankings has fluctuated over the years. Six times he reached the top 16. He was ranked second in 2007/8 season. Dott's ranking has dropped since then.
Mark Williams' ranking
The world snooker ranking of Mark Williams has steadily increased over the past few decades. He has won a number of tournaments, including the Players Championship Grand Final in 2000. In the final, he also beat Ronnie O'Sullivan. He has been the number one ranking in the world several times. His greatest ranking win came in 2001 when he beat Anthony Hamilton in the finals of the China Open.
