Jimmy White is one of the most renowned snooker players in the world. Jimmy was born in Balham (London) and has held 30 professional titles. His flamboyant style is well-known, as well as his natural talent. His success has seen him rise to the top in the sport in many different countries.

He was an English World Cup team member in 1988. In 1979, he won the English Amateur Championship. He won the World Doubles Championship in tandem with Alex Higgins. This has made him a well-known sportsman and humorous after-dinner speaker. Apart from his skills at snooker, he is also an avid conservationist. He is an avid animal lover and has worked with award-winning document teams.

Jimmy White started his professional career as a golfer in the 1980s. He reached the final of both the British Open, and the Masters. After a promising early career, White remained in top eight for the majority of his career. In the 1990s, however, his fortunes began slipping. He wasn't able repeat his success in the past but has maintained his place on the main tour for the second season.

Jimmy White is known as an underdog. He was a player of a high-spirited style and a relentless determination to succeed. One of his best moments was during his world semi-final in 1999.


He didn't lose any frames in his first two qualifying matches. However, he lost his next two tournaments to Matthew Selt in the deciding frame to Xiao Guodong. Despite the setbacks however, he continued to enjoy good performances throughout this year.

He won three matches at full-ranking tournaments in 2014/15. His disappointing season ended with a loss to Barry Hawkins, in the International Championship. Despite this, however, he placed in the top 8, just below the top 64 on main list.

Jimmy White, then just 15, became the youngest player ever to win the ranking event. He defeated Mark Selby (Stephen Hendry), David Morris (David Morris) and Mark Selby (Mark Selby). He secured his place in top 64 by winning the tournament.

Jimmy White is the star and host of BBC2's docu-series Gods Of Snooker. He is a fan favorite and a familiar figure to snooker lovers around the globe. When he isn’t playing, his time is split between snooker play and public speaking. He is frequently called upon to host high-profile corporate events as well as awards ceremonies.

Jimmy White made sure to make the most of his opportunity while fighting for his place among the top 64. In an effort to be in the top 64 again, he qualified for International Championship. He became the second overall player with a maximum break at the tournament.
