Willie Mosconi's career as a professional pool player

After high school, Mosconi was drafted into the Army and served as an industrialist. He resumed his professional pool playing career after World War II. He won the BCA World Championship in 1957 for the second consecutive time. His success caused a rift with Rudolf Wanderone, a fellow pool player who was popularly known as Minnesota Fats.
